Join the Kings Basketball Family
Kings Basketball is built on development, commitment, and community — not just short seasons. That’s why we’ve moved from traditional registration to a membership model.
Membership means your athlete isn’t just signing up for a program — they’re becoming part of the Kings family. Members receive ongoing training, structured practices, skill development, performance work, and team opportunities throughout the year.
Our goal is long-term growth, confidence, and success on and off the court. When you join Kings, you’re not registering for a season — you’re committing to the process.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Kings Basketball Membership?
Our membership replaces traditional seasonal registration. Instead of signing up for short-term sessions, athletes become members of Kings Basketball and receive ongoing, consistent training and development throughout the year.
Why did Kings Basketball move to a membership model?
Player development takes time and consistency. A membership allows athletes to train regularly, build skills progressively, and grow within our system — rather than starting over each season. It creates better results, stronger teams, and a more connected basketball family.
What’s included with a membership?
Membership may include:
- Team practices
- Skill development sessions
- Strength & performance training
- League and team opportunities
- Coaching support and mentorship
- Access to Kings events and programs
- *NEWLY ADDED - FILM SESSIONS*
(Exact offerings may vary by program or season.)
Can I cancel or freeze/pause my membership?
Yes. We understand schedules change. Members may cancel according to our cancellation policy outlined at registration. We simply ask for advance notice so we can plan rosters and training groups accordingly.
What happens if my athlete misses a session?
No problem — we know life happens. While we encourage consistent attendance for the best development, occasional absences won’t affect your membership. Make-ups may be available depending on scheduling.
Is membership year-round?
Yes. Kings Basketball focuses on year-round development. Some programs may adjust seasonally, but members continue training and improving throughout the year.
How do I join?
Simply select your membership option, complete the sign-up process, and your athlete is officially part of the Kings Basketball family. Training starts right away.
Can I try the program before joining the membership?
Yes. New athletes are welcome to attend one trial practice before committing to a Kings Basketball membership. This gives players and families the opportunity to experience our coaching style, training environment, and program structure firsthand.
To participate in a trial session, families must complete the registration form and sign the required waiver in advance for safety and insurance purposes. Trial practices must be scheduled ahead of time and are subject to availability.
After the trial session, a membership is required to continue participating in any Kings Basketball programs.
Is there a training only option and is it the same monthly price if we only want to do training and not play in tournaments or leagues?
Great question — yes, it’s the same monthly price.
The membership is built to cover all of our core program costs: gym time, equipment, insurance, websites and the day‑to‑day operations that make the program run at a high level. Those expenses stay the same whether a player chooses to compete in tournaments or just focuses on training.
Tournaments are simply an added opportunity for players who want that experience. Some families take advantage of them, some prefer to stick to practices — but the monthly rate doesn’t change either way.
The goal is to keep the program running, things predictable, consistent, and fair for every family while giving each player the flexibility to choose what fits them best.
"My daughter Sam played and trained with Coach King for 3 years. It got her ready for her College career. Not only did she get in shape and learned a lot from the coaches. She discovered her love for coaching others herself. She developed a friendship with coaches and she keeps much contact with them. They truly listen to her thoughts and advice and truly cared about her. She also developed a passion for helping others in sport injuries. She is currently playing college basketball in Pennsylvania on a full scholarship and studying to be a athletic trainer minor in physical therapy. We would always be thankful to Coach King, Coach Joe, and a big thank you to Coach Smitty."
